A Child's Right is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) corporation (tax ID# 56-2600599) fully funded by donors committed to changing the lives of children around the world. We are entrusted with the support and faith of individual, group and corporate donors who wish to have a direct hand in providing the most basic of necessities to those most in need. As such, we take our roles in this process very seriously and provide full documentation of all expenses incurred for donors and make sure our costs are the lowest they can be to provide the best services we can for the largest number of children.

All donations are tax deductible and all projects are overseen thoroughly by the Executive Director. For every project undertaken, donors are provided a full recount o f the project by ACR staff, a photo album of the project documenting everything from start to finish as well as dozens of photos of the children who are assisted by the donations, and a commemorative plaque is placed at the site of the project with the donor's name (or organizational name) and message to the children that will be proudly displayed at the orphanage, shelter, hospital or school for years to come.

There are several ways to provide support to A Child's Right and several levels of involvement for the donor, from supporting the general clean water projects to traveling with the ACR team and assisting with our projects firsthand. Whatever level of support you can provide, you are assured that your donations are being spent to provide lifesaving technologies and educational tools to children around the world.

Clean Water Friend's donations go directly in to the general clean water fund at ACR. Donations can be directed to particular projects where applicable and can also be made as a gift or in the name of a recipient. All supporters will receive updates from ACR regarding how their donations were spent, which clean water project benefited from their donation, and quarterly updates on the work ACR is doing and the goals we are setting for future projects.

Clean Water Friends have a tremendous opportunity to directly affect the lives of children in need of clean water.

Water Supporters have a wonderful opportunity to assist with our clean water projects by donating specific amounts to pay for specific and integral pieces of the overall water project.

Donor Categories:
Individuals: Every donation at a Child's Right is treated with the same level of respect and appreciation, regardless of the size or scope. Every year we assist thousands of underprivileged children in impoverished areas gain access to clean water, receive an education and obtain quality medical care. Without the support of individual donors, our work would be severely limited in scope and impact. For those interested in our projects, there are dozens of ways you can become involved and assist us in providing the very basic rights to children in bleak living conditions. Please contact our offices if you are interested in raising awareness and funds for projects.

Schools, Religious Organizations, Clubs: We have found that these organizations can have a tremendous impact on children in need as most schools, religious groups, or clubs have connections to a city or similar organization in a developing country. We enjoy teaming together with these groups and offering our expertise and experience to provide an essential service to distressed children. If your group, school, social club, or religious organization has a location in mind where there are children who could benefit from clean water systems, please let us know and we would be happy to assist you in your outreach. We are not territorial and see the inherent benefit in partnering with others to achieve the biggest impact in our goals of assisting children in need.

Large Corporations and Organizations: One avenue we have seen that can act as a catalyst for larger organizations and corporations to involve themselves in further international relief work is to bring along a representative from donor organizations who can experience the tremendous gift of life, clean water, that we provide to orphaned, abandoned and distressed children the world over. When an organization can provide the funding for ten clean water systems, we will take a representative of that organization with us and they will take part in visiting all ten sites as well as taking part in the joy of presenting such a wonderful gift for such precious children. Most trips involve at least 1-2 countries, 6-7 orphanages and 3-4 children's hospitals or schools in underdeveloped communities and every step of the trip will be coordinated and attended to by ACR staff. At least 2-3 staff members will accompany any donor representative. This is a wonderful experience for any organization and provides for full accountability and oversight into the projects. Not to mention, it is a great tool to further the company's name when taking part in such a tremendous humanitarian project.

Please contact our offices for more information on how you can help a child in need.
