Bill’s journey to a child’s right began one rainy day in Oregon. That was the day he began the process that led to serving in the Peace Corps in Turkey.  The road after Turkey took several twists and turns, many of which were completely unexpected. 
 
Graduate school (expected); teaching (expected); working in the wholesale grocery business (unexpected); and then a career of 36 years in the water treatment business (unexpected and then, the thing to do).
 
During those 36 years Bill’s travels took him to 48 of the 50 US states and to over 50 countries.  He has lived and worked in the book ends of Asia (Turkey and Japan) and has had the great pleasure of learning both languages – and using them professionally. He has built out operations and sales throughout Asia and the Middle East for one of the world's leading filtration companies while also managing core teams of country staff in China, Japan, S.E. Asia, Europe and Latin America.
 
The final twist in the road to a child’s right happened in Las Vegas in early 2008.  Bill met Eric Stowe of a child’s right and the connection was virtually immediate.  Working closely over the next three years completed the journey, and brought Bill full circle to the place he has always wanted to be – helping others, especially children. There is no more satisfying work than bringing premium quality, safe and clean, drinking water to those most vulnerable, at-risk urban children, says Bill to his friends.
