Of all the countries on our radar, India has the largest population of institutionalized children and greatest number of cities with unsafe water. Thus, India will likely be our largest program in the coming years. We don't claim to be experts in the country, so we are working methodically this year and next to ensure the work we do in India in the future is both strategic and needed.

Our work in Thailand commences in October 2011. Our first ten pilot projects are in motion, most of which are in orphanages specific to children with disabilities. Thanks to excellent partnerships on the ground, and a strong team in place, a child’s right feels confident we can make tremendous strides in Thailand. In addition to our initial ten sites, we anticipate adding twenty more in 2012.

Our work in Vietnam commences in November 2011, with eight pilot projects in Ha Noi (North), Da Nang (Central) and Ho Chi Minh City (South). Our primary focus will be twofold: children living with the effects of dioxin contamination, as well as some of Vietnam’s largest pediatric hospitals.
