Water
Of the 3 million people who die every year due to waterborne diseases caused by unclean water, 90% are children under the age of 5. These diseases are the single biggest threat to children the world over and as such the push to provide clean and safe drinking water to children in need is of paramount importance.

A Child's Right has focused on this issue, above any and all others, as the primary and most fundamental right that a child can be provided. Without clean water, a child's life is in danger every day. Our goal is to assist children in developing countries with access to clean and safe drinking water. Although an unending task, it is one so critical for these children to receive and one so relatively easy for us in the United States to provide. It is a small gesture on our part for these precious children and the lives we want them to enjoy and the goals we want them to fulfill.

A Child's Right provides water purification systems, along with water filtration units, water storage containers, and extensive hygiene education to orphanages, street shelters, schools and children's hospitals in locations with verified water issues. We do not exclude any child due to religion, ethnicity, gender or location- all children deserve this gift and we believe without question that this is a basic right of every child. Although the need for clean water is apparent in every corner of the world, we can only provide so much assistance annually. With your help we can spread our assistance farther each year and assist children in every region.

Staff members of A Child's Right have over ten years of experience working with water purification technologies and have personally installed water purification systems in dozens of orphanages and schools in China, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Cambodia, India and Panama.
